The World is not short of need, it is short of giving.
For over 25 years, Mr. Rudy has been dedicated on giving back to individuals and families in need. Mr. Rudy has been part of countless outreach events, including, Feed the Neighborhood and Love the Neighborhood with Service International, delivering school supplies to children in the Dominican Republic, assisting with the organization of free medical camps in the Dominican Republic, and tornado relief in Joplin, Missouri and St. Louis, Missouri. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Rudy gave away over $30,000.00 dollars to small businesses and families in need, as well as regularly purchased groceries for nurses.
From May 2013 through January 2017, Mr. Rudy served as a director. Happiness Now is focused on delivering outreach programs to impoverished communities and Haitian refuges in the Dominican Republic.
From January 2016 through January 2017, Mr. Rudy served as a director. Project Warrior X delivered assistance to military veterans and their families.
On Sunday, May 22, 2011, an EF-5 multiple-vortex tornado devastated the city of Joplin, Missouri. The next day, Mr. Rudy traveled to Joplin and volunteered to assist with tornado relief efforts. He spent over 4 weeks working with Service International as a Team Lead, overseeing teams of volunteers, providing clean-up and rebuilding, as well as hope for countless people.
Commenting on Mr. Rudy's efforts in Joplin, an administrator of Service International stated, “I hold you in high esteem and have nothing but positive, constructive, and righteous opinions of you...You did a stellar job in your disaster relief efforts in Joplin volunteering with SI. I wish we had 1000 just like you.”
From August 2010 through July 2011, Mr. Rudy served as the board's Executive Vice President, where he conceived and spearheaded the most successful event supported by the board, The Taste of Westminster.
In 1995, just a few years after graduating high school himself, Mr. Rudy started a college scholarship award. Recognizing and understanding the needs of students with financial hardships, Mr. Rudy was determined to help students achieve their dream of higher education.
